The vision of York City Church is to be:

A church that is making Jesus known to hundreds and thousands of people in the City.
A church that brings glory to Jesus through passionate, dynamic and intimate worship.
A church that initiates and resources the planting of churches across Yorkshire, the UK and throughout the world.
A church family that welcomes people of all generations and nations, turning them into spiritually mature disciples.
A church in which the lonely, hurting and marginalised receive the love, compassion and mercy of Jesus.
A church on its knees in prayer, fervently calling out to God.
A church with cell groups in every part of the City, making Jesus famous within their communities.
